CRESSI MC5 INT - Compact Second Stage Regulator
This regulator is made up of the new second stage CRESSI Compact, combined with the CRESSI MC5 diaphragm first stage.
Its strengths lie in its extreme lightness, excellent performance, very easy maintenance and affordable purchase price.
Suitable for beginners, diving, schools and rental.
CRESSI MC5 INT First Stage Regulator.
CRESSI First Stage to overbalanced membrane MC5, the most modern but, at the same time, of simple maintenance and very robust and trustworthy. The thicknesses of the walls of the body have been optimized to reduce to the minimum its weight (380 g). A case of semiflexible elastomer protects the first stage of blows and erosions. The hypercompensation of the mechanism guarantees a slight increase of the intermediate pressure as it gets down the pressure of the bottle. The regulator supplies therefore its maximum level of services in the final phase of the dip, undoubtedly the most critical.
An advanced study of the traffic of the air and a chamber of exclusive distribution that canalizes the air volume directly to the exits LP has allowed to reduce to minimal levels the fall of pressure in forced breathings (0,5 bar), guaranteeing a use with high services in any situation. Valve of polyurethane of high mechanical resistance, to the oils and to the hiperoxic mixtures.
Specially effective filter with form of hat inserted without need of circlip. 1 exit HP and 3 LP. 300 are supplied in version INT (stirrup) and DIN bar. The toe of the coil of the version DIN has been realized in stainless steel instead of brass to guarantee a major resistance in case of falls or blows.

CRESSI Compact Second Stage Regulator.
New Extremely simple and less complicated single shell second stage made from ABS and elastomer, compact small size (6 cm in diameter), Very light weight (145 g). Its mechanism and development are perfectly planned to obtain the minimum number of components and very strong.
It is a smart buy due to its combination of performance, reliability, price and cost of maintenance.
It is perfect for uses requiring maximum reliability and ideal as a travel regulator, given its lightness combined with the first stage MC5.
CE Standardization Annex B EN250/2014_A>10°C
It is also perfect for rental in diving centers, as a work regulator with AC2, and as an addition to the high range MC9.
The specific calibration of the inhalation mechanism slightly changes the air delivery as compared to the Ellipse series; the feel and sensitivity of these models is exquisite, with an abundant flow without needing to exploit the Venturi effect.
This feature provides a limited tendency to free flow on the surface and when positioning the equipment in the water, ideal for schools and rentals, octopus and double regulator.
However, the results of the features place it beyond regulators of highest range.
Asymmetrical perforation in the front cap. The water flow starts to push the diaphragm anti-clockwise so that its retraction is perfectly flat and the cam progressively descends perpendicularly, independent of conditions (currents, brisk movements, facial position, etc.).
Exhalation effort particularly reduced without the need to minimize the thickness of the diaphragm. The design of the membrane retention system directs the 100% channeled flow towards the nozzles of the bow, taking advantage of a strong Venturi effect.
Also, it works to direct the bubbles away from the diver’s field of vision.
Embedded membrane to avoid water infiltration in case of brisk turns or jumps to enter the water.
Practically integrated purge button, between 80-400% larger than that of any other regulator on the market to facilitate purging, especially for beginning divers.
